Due to the current Covid-19 situation, our annual Porcupine Lake Community Cleanup gathering is postponed, but we are encouraging litter cleanup by launching a challenge!

Due to the current Covid-19 situation, our annual Porcupine Lake Community Cleanup gathering is postponed, but we are encouraging litter cleanup by launching a challenge!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

Choose an area near Porcupine Lake or anywhere in your community and pick up litter safely by following guidelines.

HOW TO SHARE WITH US:

Share your photos with us on our Facebook Group and challenge others to do their part! (or share by private message if you prefer). The names of all participants will be entered in a draw!

STAY HEALTHY and SAFE!

Remember to follow the local health authority guidelines by maintaining physical distancing while out there. Wear gloves, wear sturdy footwear, do not walk on ice or close to flooded areas. Use hand sanitizer and make sure to wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water as soon as you get home.

🔺 SAFETY FIRST: If you encounter needles, call Living Space at 705-531-7233 with the location and they will send someone to pick it up or email communityfeedback@livingspacehub.org For heavy and oversized objects and hazardous waste that can’t be picked up safely, report it to us and we will call the proper authorities.
